CHRIS
WOOLEY

Chris Wooley is an award-winning stand-up comedian from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, bringing sharp observations, personal stories and a distinctly honest point of view to the stage.

Chris was born in Conway, SC. He grew up making others laugh even if it was at his own disposal. His life has revolved around obesity, drugs, alcohol, and depression. He spent 21 years as an addict and at his heaviest weighed in at 570 lbs. If he didn't change he was going to be another statistical comedian overdose. He felt that God could never use a soul like his and he made it his life's mission to never feel like that again.

Material that comes straight out of his own life.

After being told in 2019 that he was too fat to perform on a club owners stage he took matters into his own hands. He decided to look into weight loss surgery and found out he had to get sober to be approved. In July of 2020 he got the surgery and even though he had a brief relapse, he's been sober since August of 2021. He's lost a total of 370 lbs. and is bringing it all to the stage.

His comedy discusses the hard truths about obesity, addiction and managing his family through it all. He's performed in clubs across the country; Comedy Cabana, Zanies, Laugh Factory, Wise Guy's, Cozzy's and many more.

He's been booked for AA and NA conventions, Churches, Comedy clubs, and private events. No matter where he's booked Chris always delivers. Chris found out that God can use the broken for His glory and he will continue to do so for the rest of his life.
